About

We started out as a quick service restaurant ( 1 year ago) but business wasn't moving ideally in the direction we were hoping it to move, so we decided to add catering, event planning etc services to our business. Months later our business was increasing. Due to lack of business capital, high demand & no consistent kitchen space we are seeking to find a place we can call home to not only continue our catering business but to also offer our services & food to the community on a more consistent basis. We offer family favorites from your favorite carnival eats to soul food to fine cuisines. (Elevated Comfort Food), Bringing a Peace ( yes Peace) of home to each and everyone of our customers.

I'm originally born & raised from Dayton, Ohio. My daughter and I relocated to Indiana about 13 years ago and reunited with her father, who plays a big part in our lives as well as the business. Our reasoning for relocating, we wanted to provide a better life & opportunity for our daughter & to ourselves. Her father & I came from a background of family that center their time & love around Spirituality and Food. We both experienced acquired taste of food that most did not experience growing up. As a young child I have always had a dream of running my own restaurant after consistently finding my way in the kitchen for years, but my reality of life never gave me the time, money or even driven to attempt to achieve that dream. Many years I still continued to cook and was the go to person for My Macaroni n Cheese, My goulash, my fish dinner after awhile I was known as "Chef T" & responsible for the cooking around the holidays and other special occasions. Again it was so a dream to me. My family & friends knew my passion, but I didn't believe in it, until a year ago when I was preparing to lay my grandmother to rest after losing her battle to Covid 19 I had came across a voice mail of mine where she raved about my cooking over and over again. At that moment I knew it was my time to turn my passion into a business. Crazy as it was I started a business with no capital, still working full time as a nurse, raising a teenage daughter, no business knowledge, not even knowing where to start, nor any knowledge about utilizing a commercial kitchen, but I did it. Established my restaurant 8/7/20 open our 1st day 12/19/20 & have been going every since.
