Miso Mermacorn Resin Art and Jewelry

Miso Mermacorn is an art business that creates color changing and glow art. I also specialize in jewelry making. I love making mood stones (color changing) from scratch and I use a lot of chameleon and color shifting pigments in my art as well. The art evolved from all of my mistakes from earrings. I compiled 200 hand painted resin feathers on a frame, that includes a blacklight, and BOOM, magic was made and Feather Frames were born. I learned not to dismiss my mistakes. They can be absolutely beautiful. My resin art is 3D and is meant for all ages! It warms my heart every time I see people in absolute "AWE" when they watch the transformation with the black light. I love creating nostalgia and entertainment for all.

I graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in 2001 and was the first female to graduate all 4 years in guitar from the program. My mother, Dana Garfinkel, was the head of the art department for Lavilla School of the Arts, before retirement. Growing up, I was taught to embrace the arts, culture, and community. I decided to take a leap of faith back in December 2020 and focus fully on my passions. Over the last 9 months I have been a part of The Atlantic Beach Farmers Market, The Cultural Corridor, 904 Pop Up, Vagabond Flea, and The Market for Makers. I have watched the evolution of the Riverside Arts Market over many years and it would be an absolute honor to be a part of.
