Community Produce

Community Produce is a small-scale urban farming effort based in the Bellmeade neighborhood of South Richmond. Our current goal is to provide the greater Richmond area with high quality sprouts, seasonal jams, seasonally-rotated leafy greens (such as arugula, spinach, and mustard greens). In addition, we have partnered with local bakers to cary high-quality baked goods, all in an effort to provide a variety of fresh, locally-produced goods for the community.

As we expand, we eventually hope to employ disenfranchised and underrepresented members of the community as well as spreading education on urban and home-farming techniques in an effort to alleviate Richmond's "food-deserts" that have arisen in poorer neighborhoods.
