Large Haitian Laye

These baskets are called “laye” in Haitian Creole, they are a staple tool in Haitian homes. They are used to sift through rice since there are other seeds and stones that are sometimes mixed in with the rice kernels. You can use these baskets on a gallery wall or by themselves.
