These earrings are handmade by independent tribal designers in Nairobi, Kenya.

These earrings are approximately 1/2 inch wide and approximately 5 inches long.

The top of each Cowrie Shell is wrapped with brass wire.

The backs of the shells are shaved off to give the earrings a lighter feeling during everyday wear.

Cowrie Shells are real cowrie shells and may differ from each other in size, color and texture.
