CommuniTea Kombucha is Seattle's original kombucha brewery. Founded in 2008, we make kombucha in Seattle using traditional brewing methods that result in a delightfully refreshing, naturally effervescent kombucha that brightens the spirit. We are based in Seattle's Central District. We use only four ingredients: organic Himalayan green tea, organic pure cane sugar, ultra-purified water and our proprietary starter culture. Because of our traditional secondary bottle fermentation step, our kombucha is naturally effervescent, and it contains a small amount of alcohol (1.5-2.0%), and as such, we are licensed brewery. We do not add flavors, alcohol or carbon dioxide, nor do we take any away. We call ourselves, "the Kombucha-flavored Kombucha.™"
