one little world

one little world is a small fair trade company based in richmond, virginia. we partner directly with our artisans in the developing countries of uganda, nepal, ecuador and kenya. we have traveled to meet our artisans and together collaborate on product design, which they then create using materials local to each of their communities. some of our products include: seed and nut jewelry from Ecuador; felted home decor and accessories from Kenya and Nepal; recycled fabric jewelry and banana fiber baskets from Uganda; and metal jewelry, home and holiday decor from Nepal. our artisans are paid fairly and work in safe and supportive working environments. we are proud to know our artisans, their families, and their communities, and we pride ourselves on our membership to the fair trade federation.
