My family has been in faming for generations and has been involved in conservation efforts for as long. I began farming beef in the 1990's, raising my cattle by conventional methods. After losing both my parents to cancer and also witnessing vaccine damage that took down several previously healthy steer, I began to question the land and livestock management practices I had learned and I began the transition to regenerative and sustainable practices that would enrich the land while it produced superior beef.
Our cattle are 100% lifetime grass-fed. We include no grains in their diet at any time. We use no-till interplanting to add specific grasses to our pastures without displacing the natural flora that exists there. We believe the diversity of plants to browse offers our cattle a wider array of nutrients as well as "nature's pharmacopeia".
We use no chemicals or pharmaceuticals on or in our cattle or on our land.
We do not use vaccines, hormones, wormers, or antibiotics. We do not spray our pastures.
