About

We are an indoor farm located in Vancouver, WA that specializes in baby and micro green produce. We combine traditional greenhouse techniques with vertical farming to help conserve water and space. Our expertise stems from growing edible greens, flowers, and plants for celebrated chefs and restaurants in the SF Bay Area. We use non-GMO seeds from a wide variety of culinary cultures.

We are located in the former Hewlett Packard campus in Fishers Landing in Vancouver, WA which is only 17 miles away from Portland, OR’s Downtown. We grow, harvest, and deliver our greens fresh to local markets.

Production Practices

Extended Growing Season Non Gmo

As an indoor farm, we create a friendly and contaminant-free environment for our greens. We don’t apply any pesticides, regardless of whether they are organic or conventional. Our careful farming practices ensure that we produce a clean product, so we choose not to pre-wash our greens with additional chemicals.

Manager

Matt Cisowski
I started my horticulture career in traditional nursery production. I then moved to Ecopia Farms, an indoor farm in the San Francisco Bay Area that specialized in growing edible greens, flowers, and plants for chefs and restaurants. I was the master grower responsible for developing products that were served in Michelin-rated and James Beard-awarded restaurants. In 2012-2014, we served our head lettuce and micro greens at the James Beard Foundation ceremonies. We were also active in the farmer's market community in the Bay Area. Ecopia Farms was certified organic by CCOF and USDA.

My current team at West Village Farms focuses on bringing this level of quality to the retail market in the Portland-Metro Area.
