Our Kashmiri Amaro blends together two unique drinking traditions: Italian Amaro and Indian Chai. The spirit threads the needle between spicy, palate drying spices of the Kashmir region with the bitter, digestif style herbs of Italian amaro. A feisty, slightly spiced start to the palate begins with cardamom, black pepper, mace, and clove. A cooling, refreshing spearmint blooms midway through the palate, as the Indian spices slowly give way to the more traditional bittering herbs of Italian amaro: rosemary, sage, and gentian root. Beautifully balanced. Wonderfully evolving on the palate. Always perfect for after dinner - before the party.
