One slow summer day in 2017, my daughter asked me if we could setup the rock tumbler she got for Christmas a few months earlier. As we began exploring the hobby, we spent hours learning all about stones and the different to work with them. I didn’t even notice the time passing and eventually realized I may have found a “flow” activity. I kept seeking out and consuming every piece of knowledge I could find about the lapidary arts and quickly made it my primary hobby. I gradually acquired the knowledge, experience and tools to truly showcase the rocks that I loved finding.
I decided jewelry would be the first way I could display and share the fantastic stones I was collecting. The response to my jewelry from friends and family was so positive that I decided to start a business to sell my creations. Since starting my business, I have met people love all kinds of rocks, and have expanded to sell them in even more forms, like rough, polished and mounted stones. I prefer featuring natural stones and look far and wide to offer a diverse and unique selection. I have a deep appreciation for the chance to connect with people that share my passion for the natural beauty of the stones I collect. Every stone has a story and love it when someone finds one to make part of their own.
I currently sell my pieces online through Etsy and would like to expand. I am particularly interested in selling my products in-person, as it is challenging to truly capture the exceptional detail through pictures. I frequently hear that customers find my pieces even more exceptional in person.
