Hakumei-Sama no Hime (Princess Hakumei)

Hello everyone. If anyone who visit my Twitter lately. I've been uploading short slideshows of some of my artwork with a certain theme behind it. About a month ago, I uploaded a "Bijin-ga" slideshow and I'm working on a second volume of that slideshow. I really want to put my best foot forward on this on now that I have a new Slideshow editor so I decided I'm going to create a few more of this style so I can add it in to my slideshow. And so, I'm starting this off with a portrait of this Princess who play a part of Lady Maya Matsui reaching out to Equestria Centuries ago.

Princess Hakumei (薄明様の姫) (Hakumei-Sama no Hime) Was the human Hime who succeeded to enchant Lady Maya Matsui "The Deity of Passion" and became her wife and the head Miko of Lady Maya's shrine. Princess Hakumei and Lady Maya Matsui founded several royal clan among their country. Princess Hakumei was exceptionally beautiful and was very intelligent and often shares her interest in exploring the outside world with Lady Maya. Since Princess Hakumei was a human, her time she spent with Lady Maya was short in comparison, but the time that the two of them were together was one of the happiest they ever had. However, about a thousand years or so, the reincarnation of Princess Hakumei would resurface and Lady Maya Matsui would eventually found her out among the crowd. Usually The reincarnated Princess would still be a small child looking for The Deity of Passion, and Lady Maya would grant the child whatever her heart desired by unlocking her hidden potential. Depending on whose family the reincarnated Hakumei was born into, she who either live with the villagers she was born into or would be rise in Lady Maya's Temple as a Royal Maiden. When she turns to the age of consent to pursue her relationship with Lady Maya as of her previous incarnation did before her.

This is the Portrait the last known incarnation of Princess Hakumei painted over 1200 years ago and the incarnation that inspired Lady Maya Matsui to find other Deities like her in different nations which lead to finding the Equestrian Goddesses. It's been over 1200 years since Princess Hakumei reincarnated again, but there are a couple of Equestrians that maybe a possible candidate of being the new reincarnation of Princess Hakumei despite one of them not a Kin to Lady Maya or The Eastern Republic. However; This candidate share an uncanny resemblance to Princess Hakumei with her Beauty and intelligence and how she first met Lady Maya and how she was able to seduce her when she was in magic school. The other candidate is a descendant between Lady Maya Matsui and Princess Celestia that the two of them raised together since she was a small child. While she loved Lady Maya and Princess Celestia, that candidate abandoned them after leaning about the "Gaijin" candidate and became jealous of how she was taking Lady Maya's affection away from her.

Well that's the small backstory of The Reincarnated Hime. I going to make several more artworks like this before I return working on the strips. I hope you like what's to come, it's like going back to my first passion I can't wait!
