Six Figs Farm
Vendor
We are a small family farm in Good Hope, GA. We started our farm because we wanted food free from pesticides for our family. We want the same for our customers' families.
We grow elderberries, figs, garlic, strawberries, and asparagus, as well as various other fruits, berries, and veggies using sustainable regenerative agriculture methods. We offer a limited amount of eggs from chickens, ducks, and geese that we raise on movable pasture, with only certified organic supplemental feed.
We prepare jams and jellies, teas, and shrubs from the fruits we grow, in addition to making it available fresh. In addition, we offer our own elderflower products. In 2021, we won the Walton County Conservationist award for our efforts in rebuilding the soil and water conservation.
We move our chickens, ducks, and geese through our orchards and fields post harvest, followed by compost and heavily mulching. The birds dig up and eat overwintering pests, as well as scratching and fertilizing.
We do not use pesticides, and only Certified Organic fertilizers, when needed based on soil testing.
