Stone Barn was founded by Sebastian and Erika Degens in 2009. We produce small batch barrel aged whiskeys, seasonal fruit and nut liqueurs, and European style brandies. We source locally and make everything from scratch. We strive to highlight each individual fruit and grain, and to produce abundantly flavorful, somewhat unusual spirits.
Erika Degens
Our farmer's market team is spearheaded by owner Erika Degens, who has been vending at the farmer's markets for seven years. When not at the farmer's markets, Erika can be found at the distillery cutting quince, distilling mashes, bottling and labeling product, or emeshed in Stone Barn business in the computer at home.Or you might see Mary DiPrete at the markets, who joined our team in 2018. Mary is an arts teacher and a writer, and moonlights on weekends under the Stone Barn canopy!
