About
We operate on a one-acre urban farm in the Parkrose Neighborhood, a half-acre plot in the Cully Neighborhood, and eight acres in Longview, Washington, founded by the grandson of an Italian urban farmer. Providing food for a large family in Rhode Island during the Depression era, he passed his strong work ethic and passion for growing and cooking healthy food on to his grandson.

Pest management: crop rotation, beneficial plants, insects, hand cultivation, organic methods i.e.: beer, wood ash, food-grade diatomaceous earth.
Weed management: Pulling by hand, raised beds, mulch, cover crops, weed barriers (burlap).
Water management: Mulch, rain barrels, raised beds, cover crops, compost.
