My husband and I own a Jersey Cow Dairy in Buhl. We make our own cheese with our own raw milk. Our cheese is all aged at least 2 months. We have a variety of cheddar style cheese, Gouda style cheese, feta, Jack style and others. I have made cheese as a hobby for several years but last year we built a state certified "cheese plant" (a 25'x25' room with a loft). We have a 50 gallon cheese vat so we are able to be very creative, even do custom batches of cheese for customers. We started to sell last October, we are in a few local stores and have an online store but sell most at Farmers Markets and other local markets.

I served 6 years in the Army and worked 15 years as a Registered Nurse. I now work full time as an artisan cheese maker! I began as a self taught cheese maker but when I decided to make a business out of cheese making I went to a Sterling College in Vermont for a college level cheese making class. The teacher in this class came from France. He has his own small dairy and he makes and sells his cheese in France. I learned a ton! I continue to learn and grow daily and love to share our delicious creations!
