The Pleasant Ridge Foundation is a philanthropic organization focused on improving the quality of life programs in our community, the Ferndale School District arts & music programs, and scholarships for Ferndale School District HS graduates. See our web page for list of past 40+ years of funded projects. We recently received a large quantity of quality packaged shirts, track suits, athletic wear, etc from a now retired manufacturer's rep to support the Pleasant Ridge Foundation. All of this merchandise is new w/tags, the shirts are packaged. We have no way to sell this quantity of goods & believe that a stall at the Sunday market would allow us to do so.
A former long time trustee with the Foundation, I volunteer in running Ridge Resale - an activity of the Pleasant Ridge Foundation. Housed in a city owned building, it is a resale shop selling community donated goods. Both hours & space are extremely limited - 4 hours a month. We do not have the capacity to handle this volume of donated new merchandise. In addition, I was a board member at the Detroit Waldorf School in historic Indian Village for several years & chaired their annual auction.
