About
"Al Najma", meaning "the Star" in Arabic, is a small family run business making Syrian sweets. Muwaffak, Dareen, and their children came as refugees to the United States from Syria by way of Jordan. They are very excited to make Syrian food and baked goods to share with the people in their new country and home.
Production Practices
Al Najma has their Cottage Foods permit under the Department of Agriculture. All of their recipes are approved by the Departure of Agriculture and their home passed inspection by the Dept. as well.
