Pastor Mike has served in full-time ministry for 12 years, and as Senior Pastor for the past 8 years.
He comes to us from Ball Ground, Georgia near where he grew up, and where he served as Senior Pastor at a local community church. He is a family man, complementing Rim Church’s strong commitment to family values. We are a family-integrated church, with children staying with their parents during services. Courtney is a homeschool mom who is teaching exceptionally well-behaved children. He and his family will be living in the A-Frame parsonage next to the church.
Pastor Mike is a conservative Christian preacher, dedicated to preaching the text of Scripture from beginning to end, carefully teaching only what the verses say and imply. His motivation for the ministry comes from the great commandment: “Love God with your whole self, and love one another as Christ loved you.”
The congregation already loves Pastor Mike and his family. His love for the church body and each individual is evident to all of us. Rim Church is located at 31116 Hilltop Blvd, on Hwy 18 in Running Springs. Fellowship is from 9:30-10:00 on Sunday mornings, with the service beginning at 10:00.
The first Sunday of each month we have a pot-luck luncheon followed by an ole’ fashion Hymn Sing—singing those old beloved hymns of the faith. Guests don’t bring food. Come and join us!
