The Bread Peddler creates artisan breads reminiscent of the old world style loaves families delighted in at the turn of the 20th century. All breads are shaped by hand with great care and baked to bring out the intricate flavors of the grains with rustic texture and a superb crust. We bake 4 varieties of gluten-free breads, fresh bialys, and over 10 types of wheat-based artisan breads.
Non Gmo
Wheat breads and bialys are made with quality professional non-gmo flours from King Arthur Flour in Vermont, along with organic wheat and rye flours from Champlain Valley Milling in New York, LaMilanaise in Quebec, Aurora Mills and Farm and Maine Grains in Maine. Honey from Hall Aviaries in NH. Gluten free breads use primarily Bobs Red Mill flours such as white and brown rice flour, teff flour, sorghum flour, tapioca flour. and Gluten free rolled oats.
