Hi-Rise Bread Co.

We're a neighborhood bakery and cafe (and now a grocery store too!) in Cambridge. We've been baking out of our Observatory Hill location since 1996 and have been an active participant in many regional farmers' markets since the beginning. We make everything from scratch, every day, and take pride in our time-honored recipes and commitment to quality. At the bakery, we sell a full array of breads, pastries, sandwiches, soups + stews, salads, dinners + prepared foods, jam + granola, and wine + spirits, and an ever-expanding grocery -- and we're always excited to bring our products out into the wider community through farmers' markets every season.
