On U Jewelry by Donna Silvestri is a collection of hand-knotted, and hand-crocheted, jewelry. Each necklace, bracelet, earring, and anklet is a one-of-a-kind piece created with elegant glass, vintage and semi-precious materials. Most items are eco-chic, or re-purposed, and include antique and vintage buttons, beads and findings collected from throughout the world.

The intricate knot patterns add style and delicacy to the jewelry, while
increasing their sturdiness and appeal. Donna’s extensive background as a fabric designer in New York City has made her a master at choosing color concepts that makes her pieces dramatic and different, yet work with many different looks and moods. Prices range from $25 for earrings to $975 for necklaces.

After 14 years in the upstairs of an old house, On U recreated it's Studio and moved to Richmond'ds Libbie & Grove area in 2019. The Studio not only features Donna's handcrafted jewelry, but she now offers findings and collectibles that she's traveled the world to find.

Donna was honored by Richmond Magazine’s 2011, 2014 and 2019 Best & Worst issues as the Best Local Jewelry Designer. In 2018, her work was featured at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
