Kennaroo Glass

Josh Kennedy, known as Kennaroo is based out of St. Petersburg, Florida. He is a self-taught glassblower and has been practicing since 2004. Wildlife and sculptural design are things he’s passionate about and he enjoys making custom pieces for his clients. His newest project has been creating UV reactive “Solar Scopes”. These are amazing, handcrafted, one of kind Kaleidoscopes. Bold and beautiful are two words to describe all his work. Bright patterns are used throughout all his projects, thought, passion and positive energy goes into everything he creates. Roo has been published in several magazines and took first place at the Champs Orlando Glass Games in 2019. He competed in the Champs Las Vegas Masters Finals in 2020 and also just competed in the Champs Glass Games in Orlando 2021. What stands out most about Kennaroo and his work are the detailed designs, his unique skill set, ability and effort that goes into each design. Roo is constantly learning and exploring new techniques and is currently developing a new line for “From Fire”, this is a brand new storefront glass art gallery coming to St. Petersburg. The shop will be opening in April 2021.
