I hand-craft non-toxic, hypo-allergenic room and linen sprays that are safe around kids and pets. I created this because as an esthetician and a new mom, I became very cautious about the things I spray in the air and around my son. My room sprays are not only non-toxic (containing NO toxins found on the California Prop 65 list), but act as a skin toner, too! In the spirit of being as eco-friendly as possible, they also come in amber glass bottles. These can be reused and will naturally preserve many things you might put in them; as the amber glass blocks out the sun. There's also a switch on the bottle that allows you to lock it, in the case it's easily accessible to a little one.
Let's talk gloss. I love lip gloss but was sick of sticky and thick beauty supply gloss. I create mine in a manner where it is smooth, silky, and soft- all the while being pigmented on the lips and not too thick! Jólét glosses are 100% free of mineral oil and petroleum jelly- 2 major ingredients in the lip care industry that can clog your pores! My lipglosses are also vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free.

The aroma lady. Lip gloss creator. The Esthetician. These are all the things that I describe myself and my small business as. Jólét is also black owned and woman operated. Based out the beautiful Detroit, Michigan, Lexi (me, the owner) is a new mom, esthetician, and creative.
My goal is to provide local, safe, and aesthetically pleasing products that are practical and have the ability to be used by anyone, at any time. I started making lip gloss after a $1 gloss purchase at the beauty supply ended up instantly in the trash because it was so sticky. Fast-forward a few months and the pandemic hit. Everybody was stuck at home, confused and nervous. Knowing that our sense of smell is directly involved with our emotions and memory- I wanted to provide something that could induce a mood boost in such gloomy times. I've made all types of aromas from rosemary-sage (to calm) to mango-coconut (to excite), and continue to craft more to positively affect one's mood.
I graduated from Douglas J Aveda Institute with my esthetics certificate and also attended Wayne State University with a major in psychology. I am very passionate about the health of our skin and am in the process of formulating a skin care line that is genuinely healthy for each skin type and provides real results.
I want the people around me to feel good about themselves and the space that they're in, while having confidence in the products they use on and around them.
