I’m Julia, and I make whimsical, nature-inspired polymer clay earrings designed to catch the light. I’ve been working with polymer clay for four years, building on forming and trimming processes I learned working in a ceramics factory. I specialize in cat-shaped earrings, along with geometric shapes like trapezoids. Most of my work features marbled designs combining translucent clay, mica powders, and opal flakes for a color-shifting, faux crystal effect. Each piece is hand-sculpted, hand-painted, baked, and finished with resin, and I use hypoallergenic findings. Everything is made in my home studio in Culpeper, with prices ranging from $20-$28. I display my earrings on stands designed to complement the jewelry. I’ve sold at markets across North Carolina and on Etsy for three years, and I’d love to bring my work to the Charlottesville Farmers Market and be part of the local community there.
