Venice Tax-Aide

Venice Tax-Aide, a program of AARP Foundation, is looking for friendly and service-oriented people to join our team of volunteers for the upcoming tax season. There's a role for everyone - tax preparer, greeter, appointment maker, administrator.

Venice Tax-Aide provides tax preparation help to anyone, free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate income. Tax-Aide is the largest free, volunteer-based tax assistance and preparation program in the U.S. Tax-Aide volunteers are trained and IRS-certified every year to ensure they know about and understand the latest changes and additions to the tax code. Assistance is provided at multiple locations in Venice during the tax season. AARP membership is not required to receive service.
