I have lived and worked in Virginia since 1991 and in Fairfax County since 1999, I am currently employed by Apple Federal Credit Union as the director of their project management office and have started a side venture with my 21 year old son Caleb, called Bagel Joy. Our mission is to provide Northern Virginia with hand-made bagels and spreads that are made according to classic recipes which include malt syrup, sourdough starter, boiling, long-cold-proofing, hand-turning and baking in stone ovens. We believe that this process, while time-intensive, produces a far superior product and we are excited to share these delicious bagels with our neighbors.
