Every wooden artwork I make in my home studio here in Idaho. Each piece is slightly different depending on the grain/knots of the wood and how the stain reacts is unique. I construct them from various plywoods, most commonly Cedar, Poplar, and White Birch. Sometimes, the stains are added to layers, It also adds a more artful difference in texture to an already unique appearance. Also, the art will change depending on the light’s direction.
