Our farm is located in Monroe and I would like to sell some of our produce, fresh eggs, and sourdough bread. I am also working on hydroponic gardening and I am a rep for the Juice Plus Tower Garden. I would like to showcase hydroponic/aeroponic gardening at the Farmers Market. Tower Gardens are a way for families to enjoy the benefits of fresh, nutrient-dense, chemical-free food in their own homes. Fruits and vegetables can be grown inside year-round and Tower Gardens make it fun and educational for the whole family. Juice Plus is a company that supports local farmers and is a huge proponent of farmers markets. I would love to be involved in the farmers market and to help encourage families to live a healthy lifestyle, grow more of their own food, and include more plants in their diets.
I am a homeschool mom of 2 children, a children's book author, a hobby farmer, and a representative for Juice Plus and hydroponic gardening. My degree is in health promotion and I am a certified health coach. I look forward to teaching my own children thru our involvement in the farmers market. I want them to know the hard work and the reward that comes from growing your own food. And, I look forward to learning from other, more experienced gardeners at the market.
