About

I'm a Civil Engineer by profession and also a mom of three amazing daughters, Katie, Jamie, and Alaina; My passion for hot salsa started when I was on my way to Disneyland for my honeymoon a long time ago! Between Denver, Colorado and Anaheim, California, we ate at a little café somewhere in Arizona where I had my first taste of the best salsa. Following that trip and many years later, I never found another restaurant that could top that first taste. It became an obsession for me to make salsa, and now 20 plus years later, I've found it, and this is it! I created my very own Marti's All Natural Salsa.

The idea for making salsa and selling was conceived when I shared with a co-worker, Terry, that my girls work so hard at selling muffins and lemonade at the Eagle Saturday Market, but after deducting all the costs, they don't make very much. Terry suggested the salsa idea because everyone loves my salsa, I'm the "salsa queen!" It's true, I've been complimented by many over the years, but making salsa for friends and family and making salsa to sell to the public is rather a big step! I mentioned the idea to the girls, and they rejected it and said I must be joking. Well, persistence is part of my nature, so I told them let's give it a try and if nobody buy then we'll do something else. Well, we tested the market and our salsa were sold out (30 containers) after two hours at the market, imagine our surprise. We stopped making muffins.
