Angel Wings

Lightly fried and covered in powdered sugar, this traditional Italian cookie is always a favorite. They are very light with a satisfying crisp and subtle anise flavor. We top them with a heavy layer of powdered sugar. Best eaten with tea or hot coffee, either way... it is too easy to finish the entire box!
