Metal Artist. My journey into metalworking is self-taught, beginning during quarantine. I focus on creating Wearable Art, often starting without a pre-drawn plan and letting the process guide me. The best part? I absolutely LOVE what I do. My Art Studio is where I spend most of my time, only stepping out to cook, eat and sleep. I feel incredibly blessed that God gave me this talent and His timing couldn't have been more perfect. HIS timing is always Perfect!

ABOUT THE ARTIST – Missy, as told by Missy herself
I am Missy Prégeant, Designer & Creator at Designs By Missy, LLC. For years, I have been crafting unique pieces for the Krewes of Gasparilla (here in Tampa, Florida), a tradition I hold dear. When the pandemic hit and events were canceled, I knew it was time to pivot and expand my creative horizons. After extensive research, I found my new passion in working with metals, particularly Copper and Aluminum, but also Steel and Brass.

Before this artistic venture, I spent about 25 years in the hotel industry, holding roles such as Guest Service Manager, Sales Manager, Director of Catering, and Director of Sales. While I loved my time in hospitality, burnout led me to seek a new path. Today, I am grateful (Praise Jesus!) and blessed to be where I am, doing what I love every single day. God is Good!!!
AND that includes our PAWsitive Pet Services and More division—our exciting new addition as of January 2025! We're still in the early stages, but soon, we'll be offering not just services but also unique products for those who hold a special place in our hearts, right after JESUS—OUR FURBABIES!
