We are a Venezuelan-Iowan family with a rich history of maintaining traditions. The arepa is a food-staple for us; it is made of ground maize dough that we form into a disc-shaped patty and stuff with a variety of fillings. The sauces and marinades used for our meats and beans have been passed down from generation to generation and mastered by our star chef: Mom. :)
