Over the Garden Gate Press

Over the Garden Gate Press is an independent publishing company based in Northwest Arkansas, founded by former English teacher and children's author Leslie Jurgensmeyer. Our original picture books, coloring books, and faith-based stories celebrate imagination, kindness, family, and the joy of reading.

But our love of books doesn't stop there!

We've expanded our offerings to include Blind Date with a Book, a collection of handpicked, surprise-wrapped books for adult readers, complete with thoughtful reading accessories and special surprises. Our specialty collections include Stars Hollow Book Market, inspired by the cozy, book-loving charm of Gilmore Girls, along with mysteries, thrillers, seasonal favorites, and beautifully packaged holiday gift editions.

For younger readers, our Mystery Playdate with a Book collections offer age-appropriate reading adventures, from beginning readers to middle-grade book lovers, with fun extras tucked inside every package.

Whether you're discovering Buddy and the Homewoods crew, choosing a mystery read for yourself, or finding a beautifully wrapped gift for someone special, we believe every book opens the gate to a new adventure.
