RFarm
Vendor
RFarm is a micro farm located in Burlington, Connecticut. We grow non-certified organic produce, herbs, & flowers. In addition we have our own apiary. We are unconventional growers, using raised beds, micro irrigation and tight plantings. The raised bed boards are milled from local trees on our own sawmill. We also build all of our own soil from composted leaves and other organic matter. We fertilize with organic kelp meal and emulsified fish. We use predatory insects (lady bugs, praying mantis, lace wings etc.) for pest control. Currently we have one season extender which we grow early greens, beans, tomatoes and peppers.
Our apiary provides the most flavorful honey. In addition, we also whip/infuse our honey with various flavors. Current on the line up: Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry, Mango, Lemon, Cinnamon, Cocoa. Of course we offer our plain raw honey in various sizes.
We pride ourselves with living a sustainable life, following sustainable growing methods and bringing high quality produce, herbs cut flowers and honey to customers.
