My name is seth I was born and raised right here in the treasury alley and have lived in Boise most all of my life. I have been blowing glass going on 3 years now full time, and have been Idaho based since beginning of 2020 when I moved back here from doing a 2 year apprenticeship from 2018-2020 in Eugene Oregon. I love bringing glass to life by making sculptures such as dragons truffles frogs and octopus as well as a huge variety of other creations like sculpted trees dachshunds and owls.

My name is Seth Sims and I was born in Boise Idaho and have lived here most of my life. I leaned the craft of glassblowing from my mentor Eli Mazet in Eugene Oregon and did a full time apprenticeship from 2018-2020 where we worked together and he taught me a variety of techniques and skills while we sold to world class galleries all across the east and west coast from Hawaii to New York to Florida and even over seas in Europe. Glass is my passion and I know more than just the basics of the craft and can talk your ear off all day from the history of the glass lens fiber optics shotglass or ribbon machine. The history is just as important to me as the pieces of art I’m making in the here and now!
