About
Doughboy Creamery is our homemade ice cream business that provides the local community with unique, traditional, and multicultural ice cream flavors. We have catered events and sold by the pint and hope to expand our business through in-person sales. In the past year and a half, we have created our ice cream from all-natural ingredients and no food preservatives. We try to incorporate local dairy ingredients when possible. We currently sell Kulfi (a pistachio dessert from Southern Asia), Mango Coconut, Vanilla, Mocha Almond Fudge, and Apple Crisp. We are formulating new flavors and look to launch them this spring. Our family has been in the Fairfax County area since 1979 and we look forward to serving our local community.

My uncle and I have been ice cream connoisseurs for the longest time. After taste-testing flavors from famous storefronts in New York and DC, we realized there were much more improvements to be made in the ice cream's overall quality. From xanthan gum to other unhealthy food additives, we noticed a pattern amongst these ice cream businesses that needed to be solved for the public. Throughout the 50s and up to the 70s, ice cream was a core value to American society. As a result, we opened Doughboy Creamery to bring the nostalgia and originality back to the public that there once was in ice cream. From classic design to the all-natural ingredients, we've always strived to accomplish this, and we've received nothing but positive feedback. In terms of multicultural flavors, we wanted the experience of our customers to be unique, while still providing classic flavors that everyone can enjoy. As mentioned, we are a family run business and have been in the area since 1979, and this is where our passion stems from. My uncle and I love what we do, and can't wait to continue to show our product to our community.
