Kosher Guacamole Corp
Vendor
We are a local fresh sustainable Latin Quick service restaurant that is most known for our hand made pupusas. We offer this thick Gluten Free Salvadorean treat in a vegetarian, vegan , or meat lovers option. We have proudly served them to the Georgia State University Downtown Community since 2013 and branched out to Adair Park in 2019.

Kosher Guacamole Corp is the owners and operators of Buenos Dias café. It also owns La Bodega at the Met. The Corporation is owned by Jeannette and Kenneth Katz.
Our initial intention was to be a mix of Latin experiences that we have had in El Salvador where Jeannette is from, New York, where Ken is from, San Francisco , where we met and Miami, where we lived before this. So we were focused on the entire experience and what a student would expect if they came from these areas. Interestingly this is how we ended up focusing on offering fresh food prepared daily and to order for our customers. We thought part of the experience was going to be to have a deli style offering. The students kept coming in and asking for the chicken quesadilla with no meat. They were willing to pay for it but they needed an outlet that offered them fresh vegetables as no one downtown did at the time.
We quickly kept our same foundation of using different styles from the other cities but emphasized vegetarian and vegan options. We still cook our pork Cuban Style, but we are constantly looking to create interesting vegan choices for the students .
We are most proud of being able to give opportunities to others both through employment and through partnerships. We feature food and beverage items from a few local startups including Montane water, Tiny Cake House, Cafecito coffee, Honey Next Door, and Sweet sol hot sauce. At the same time we are proud of our employees, as most are Georgia State University students that we are giving an opportunity to work while in school without the burden of being over worked or lacking time to stay focused on the #1 priority, school.
All of these factors has Buenos Dias Cafe serving as a second "home" in the downtown community for many of the students and the downtown workers that want something different from the corporate chains
