Hippos and Hashbrowns started as a cottage bakery in 2016, selling at a local farmers market. In 2017, we moved into a commercial kitchen in order to make our products available to a wider audience at retail outlets. Our mission continues to be that of serving others the same high quality baked goods we’ve shared with our family and friends for decades. Good food for a good life!

Owner/operator Sandra is originally from Garland, TX and now lives with her family in east Dallas. She works with a small, select team to produce, sell, and market Hippos and Hashbrowns baked goods. We joyfully include new friends and decades long friends as well as family members as a crucial part of our success. The growing community of supporters we meet through the farmers market continues to reinforce why we do what we do. Simply put, we love baking for you!
