The Seldom Herd Bluegrass Band

The Seldom Herd is a member band of the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association (MBOTMA).

The members of the group met at the festivals held by MBOTMA. We love to play music and we enjoy meeting people and jamming.

Our influences are from a wide range of performers including Flatt & Scruggs, John Hartford, Newgrass Revival, Darrel Scott, Sierra Ferrell, Nancy Griffith, Sister Sadie, First Aid Kit, Bill Monroe, Guy Clark, John Prine, Doc Watson, Kasey Chambers, Claire Lynch, and Old Crow Medicine Show to name but a few.
