Quartet Coffee is a coffee roaster in Smyrna, Georgia with a commitment to roasting sustainable coffee and a focus on people over profits. We launched in 2020 as a hobby turned passion project, and we have seen incredible growth over the course of just a few months. We operate on a cottage food license and have built our customer base through online sales and farmers markets in Smyrna, and we plan to expand to more markets around Atlanta this year as we do not have a brick and mortar location.
Our premium coffee comes from farms in some of the most vulnerable places around the world. We build meaningful relationships with our farmers, suppliers, and local organizations and giving partners. We pay well above market prices for our beans to ensure our farmers are compensated with an ethical wage, and 25% of our profits are donated to our thoughtfully selected local giving partners. We roast new coffee weekly as we hope to give our customers a worthwhile and fresh experience.
Our team is a small operation at the moment consisting of me and my business partner Steven Hicks. I have had training along with about 5 years of experience in coffee roasting and Steven has spent years supporting the mission of fighting injustice and protecting the vulnerable.
