AFS USA International Student Exchange Program

I represent AFS-USA Intercultural Programs, a nonprofit international exchange organization dedicated to developing active global citizens through intercultural learning experiences. For more than 75 years, AFS has connected students, families, schools, and communities through study abroad, hosting, and cultural exchange programs that promote understanding, respect, and leadership across cultures.

As a Field Specialist, I work directly with local families, schools, and volunteers to support international high school exchange students and help create meaningful cultural connections within communities. Through tabling events, we share information about hosting opportunities, study abroad programs, scholarships, volunteer involvement, and the positive impact cultural exchange has on students and families alike.

Our booth is informational and community-focused, aimed at educating attendees about international exchange opportunities and encouraging cultural awareness and global engagement.
