Each piece is completely crafted by myself using high quality wood and glass elements. I create a variety of designs ranging from floral and nature to beach and other home decor. Hello, my name is Melissa Corker and I am the owner and maker with AuburnCraftWerks. My husband and I live here in beautiful Powhatan, Virginia with our two children. I started this company in 2016 as a part time venture while I was a critical care nurse working in a local hospital. In 2021, I decided to make my part time gig into a full time business. I have loved every minute of it and have grown so many skills along the way. I design and create hand cut and hand crafted stained glass artwork and resin art pieces and gifts. I am able to personalize or customize almost all of the art I make. I love making beautiful things that make people smile; and I love all the wonderful people I have met on this journey so far. When I am not hand-making items in my shop, I can usually be found spending quality time with my family, volunteering at our daughter's school, or playing with our two sweet pups.
