The story of Made4Hands begins with my Dadi (grandmother), Vimla.

Where the love begins…
As my mother, Bharati, lovingly recalls, Dadi would sit for hours with needle and thread, transforming simple fabric into small yet beautiful bags, purses, and handmade treasures for the children of family and friends. She did not sew for applause or profit. She sewed for love.

Falling in love with the legacy…
Bharati grew up witnessing devotion, discipline, and creativity. She saw how craft could express love across generations. At a young age, she picked up her own needle—and eventually her sewing machine—continuing what had already become a silent family language.
What began as curiosity became commitment. What began as practice became mastery. For more than 30 years, Bharati has refined her art—sewing, quilting, perfecting every seam, honoring every detail.

From her, I inherited more than skill—I inherited spirit. The rhythm of stitching. The discipline of detail. The belief that handmade is sacred.
