VEG Asheville was also the last standing animal hospital to remain open after Hurricane Helene and only closed for 44hrs! We helped so many pet parents in our community during their time of need, which is what we do on a day to day basis. During the Helene recovery, our hospital accepted donations and passed them out to the community and volunteered at other organizations to further assist. Additionally, we assisted in the clean up and recovery of the WNC Nature Center.
