We are a locally owned and operated brewery, in production since 2014. In December 2018, we moved into our permanent brewing facility and taproom at 1210 N. Hudson in Midtown, just a few blocks north of Scissortail Park.
John Elkins (Owner/Head Brewer): I started home-brewing in my 20s with a friend, and kept it up for several years. Got back into brewing after getting married, and started entering local and national competitions while working as a B-52 Bomber mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base. In 2013 I had the opportunity to purchase some commercial brewing equipment, and started Elk Valley Brewing full time in 2014.
Bryan Grigsby (Sales & Marketing): I started working with Elk Valley Brewing in 2016, helping with website, social media, and events. In 2018 I came on board full time to help manage sales and marketing.
Grant Tatum (Taproom Manager): has worked as a bartender and manager at several bars around OKC, including The Pump and Bunker Club. Came onboard as Elk Valley's taproom manager in 2019.
