Cappys provides on the go healthy allergen friendly food. All products are free from wheat (gluten), soy, nuts and dairy. Cappys has partnered with local farms to support their growth, eating seasonally and locally, and ensuring the freshest quality ingredients.
At the age of 23, Catherine’s life drastically changed after being diagnosed with the autoimmune disease, ulcerative colitis. She was forced to leave her career as a project engineer in heavy highway construction after becoming too ill to work. Determined to find herself healthy again, she delved into research to figure out how she could meet her nutritional needs and stay in remission. She discovered an unsettling gap in the market of whole naturally sourced ingredients in food that is quick and easily accessible. Fighting her own battles and talking with others who shared the same struggles, her newfound passion lead her to leave her career as a project engineer and pursue a way to bridge the gap. She now creates food that only contains ingredients that are gut and allergen friendly. Her goal is to educate those on gut health, nutrition and navigating the food industry as it is today.
