Nomadic Maple

I operate a 3,500 tap maple sap operation and distribute the syrup made from that sap and from another local producer. I also make value-added products such as maple cream, maple candy, maple candied nuts and maple popcorn. I also grow ramps on my property and utilize the combination of ramps and maple in sauces and spice mixes. I began to traveling to farmers markets outside of Vermont (SC, GA, TN) last year to bring maple products to regions where they are scarce. This has been a wonderful experience for me and my family. I am using the Supplemental Vendor application because some of the maple I package originates on a neighboring farm, though I am also a farmer.
