Xico was founded in 2012 by Elizabeth Davis and Kelly Myers. We serve scratch made regional Mexican cuisine and artisanal Mezcal flights and cocktails. One standout feature at Xico is our molino, the corn grinder we use to make certified organic masa from whole corn. Come to Xico for deep, vibrant flavors made from scratch with local, organic ingredients, and support our women owned and operated independent restaurant in SE Portland.
I founded Xico in 2012 with chef Kelly Myers. I was raised on Italian food and wine in my family, then at restaurants like Delfina SF, Santi and Nostrana where I learned about management, service and continually deepened my food and wine knowledge. My best girl friends, and travel taught me about Mezcal and Mexican food. We brought everything together at Xico. I continue to learn about Mexican cuisine, Mezcal and geopolitics, and restaurant operations as my career continues!
