Poa Cafe, a wellness and smoothie cafe, has been operating on N Williams Ave for 7 years.
We're a family/ community cafe for all, and we specialize in Smoothies.
We have created a new frozen, pre-packed Smoothie + overnight oats line called "Soak", in which we will pre-pack and sell frozen in bulk and subscription form. We are currently working on securing partners like PPS Nutrition services, to also follow a Sell one/ Donate one model.
We would love to be able to supply smoothies to students on the Free Lunch Program this way. Our goal is to increase access to healthy foods for children, and expose them to the deliciousness of fruits + veggies.
I'm a mother of two tweens and have been very involved with my community for many years- as an environmentalist, a mom, and small business owner, and also as a Singer-songwriter/ struggling artist.
I've had a few different careers before this, but this is by far the most rewarding.
Poa was inspired by a trip to Tanzania, Africa
My team is a very small team, of strong females. We love to provide access to healthy, healing foods and teach about nutrition and wellness while doing so. We also provide opportunity to up and coming artists by giving them a platform to create and become part of their community.
